At this point I'd definitely say Bute.
I'm sure the popular answer will be AB, difference is that people were comparing him to Floyd (way too high of expectations) and he's still extremely young.
Bute is in his mid-30's, was hyped to be the best 168lb guy when he had fought NOBODY, was getting paid waaaay more money than he deserved, and then proceeded to get destroyed by Froch and clearly beat by Pascal.
People hate on Hamed too much, that dude should be in the HOF and it's f*cking pathetic he isn't. They remember him exclusively for his loss to a prime Barrera, instead of his career as a whole.
Khan is very talented and hecan't help his chin. For awhile there though he went on a very nice run and you could see him at his best, when he was owning guys like Malignaggi, Judah, Kotelnik and Maidana. Deserved to win the Lamont Peterson fight as well IMO.
Haye was never overrated to me, the thing with him was that the people who did overrate him went CRAZY with the praise.
1-Bute: never did anything to deserve the hype
2-Haye: He was a very good cruiserweight, but at HW he basically talked his way to a title fight and had the most embarrassing showing of a HW title fight the went the distance
3-Broner: the only legit fighters he beat were very questionable dicisions but he still have potential to back up the hype
4-Khan: He actually beat some good fighters and most believe he was robbed against Peterson who is world class. I have him above Broner in terms of accomplishments alone rather than skill
5-Hamed: hes not as bad as people think, he had I think 13 title defenses and beat good fighters and only lost to an elite fighter
1) Lucian Bute - Had a good run, but as they say, 'got found out in the end'.
2) Adrian Broner - His mouth wrote checks his body couldn't cash!
3) David Haye - Basically, talked himself into big fights (One of the other guys said this too)
4) Amir Khan - I don't think he's over rated.. Needs to defend himself properly.
5) Naz - This guy had God given talent.... He was arrogant, but he was good.... real good.
