George Foreman and Carlos Palomino are both very friendly and engaging outside the ring despite their reputation inside it. Never heard them say expletive against their foes or anyone when they were still active especially Palomino after losing closely to Wilfred Benitez and Roberto Duran in hard fights..
I think Tyson is friendly to fans. It's the fans that held Tyson in dread and awe.
I went to the boxing hall of fame the following years 1991, 1992 , 1993, 2003 and 2009. The friendliest nicest guy I met was Sean O`Grady. He was very approachable and cool. He was very fan friendly a genuine nice guy.
I once read that Floyd Patterson was the friendliest,most polite and humble of boxers.This was said about him by other fighters of the time,associates and reporters.Joe Louis was a quiet,nice guy and he was also considered a gentleman outside the ring.Tyson has always been friendly to fans.

i met tim witherspoon a few months ago and he was the friendliest and funniest guy i have met in along time ,on two diferent nights we had a few rums and joked around with tim having a bit of an eye for the ladies and it was funny seeing tim trying to hit on a couple of lap dancers that were there as promotion girls ,i was gutted when tim asked if i wanted to go to a lap dancing club but i had to decline as my mrs was with me that night , how often does a 2 time heavy champ ask you to go to a strip club .

All time, Ali, hands down. Current, Manny Pacquiao. Both guys don't refuse autograph or photo requests from fans and are media-friendly. You show loyalty to these guys and they'd give you anything you want, even if they got almost nothing left.
Manny Pac is real friendly but my vote would go to George Foreman. The man is a legend in every way.
