He still has legit power and the chin is still world class. Other than that though, he's a shell of his former self.
I don't think Mosley would do well against real elite opponents anymore. He just had a competitive fight w/ Cano, who is not elite.
Mosley wouldn't be beating any Devon Alexander's or Maidana's, Matthysse's, Brook's, etc...
He should hang up the gloves. It's sad to see SSM struggle against Cano, when in his prime he would've f*cked that dude up badly.
No big deal. Cano was the young chap the old and jaded Erik Morales beat for his fourth world title at junior welterweights some years back. Morales is of course now already retired having lost his title to Danny Garcia and his bid to regain the same crown from Garcia by knockout. Cano remained an unproven factor at 140 lbs. and it came as no surprise when Mosley beat him easily at 147.
The Mosley win over Cano therefore proved nothing about his viability as a player at 147.
He should stay here. He showed some good things. He looked fast out there and he also landed some good left hooks. I was suprised how well he moved. However, he gets caught too much at this stage of his career and if he fights an elite fighter he will get hit far too much to secure a decision. His only hope is to hand out knockouts which is difficult.
Mosley needs to hang em up
lol guy needs to retire hes ruining an amazing career, He was soo fast and technically gifted in his days but hes gone now. Go out on a win for peets sake
tricky stuff look into on yahoo or google that will will help
What do you think? Does Mosley still have something left? Or do you think that if Mosley faces an elite figher, it will all be over again?
Do you think Mosley at 147 is good, or should go up again?
