Mike tyson vs muhammad ali?

Muhammad Ali.

He has faced punchers before such as Sonny Liston, George Foreman, and Earnie Shavers, who are all bigger punchers than Tyson in my opinion. Ali had a great chin. Once Tyson did get inside, Ali would be able to take his best shots.

Ali would come out dancing around, side to side, and jabbing. Tyson will try to attack Ali early, and might even land some good shots to Ali's chin. But in the later rounds, Tyson will tire, and Ali will begin to pick him apart.

In around the fourteenth round, Tyson will be exhausted, and Ali will land fast combinations, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

Ali TKO 14.

Ali should win on points. Tyson was a ferocious puncher, but he didn't have the right tools to be made the favorite over Ali.

Tyson would not likely get a decision against Ali. Ali had superior stamina, a better work rate, longer reach, and a better defense than Tyson. Ali would neutralize Tyson's offense by dancing and jabbing on the outside and clinching on the inside. James Tillis made Tyson look amateurish by using these tactics.

Tyson obviously had more power, but Ali had a great chin. Foreman, Shavers, and Liston hit as hard or harder than Tyson but none of them were able to stop Ali. Generally speaking, a great chin neutralizes a great puncher. Tyson also didn't maintain his power in the later rounds, which is why he rarely got knockouts after the 7th round.

A prime Mike Tyson would have beaten a prime Muhammad Ali.

No matter what, but the fact is they fought during different eras. Some might say Ali fought a better competition, but during Ali's days boxing was completely a different game. All we see in Ali's fights is he just taunted all his opponents all night long, with only hitting occassionally and sometimes scored KO/TKO. But, it was a completely different game.

I know the prime Ali would have done the same thing (taunting) to Tyson. This will leave the door for Tyson to land his awesome uppercut out of nowhere which struggles Ali. And later Tyson would nail Ali with lefts and rights till Ali got KOed. Or if Ali can still stand, the referee would have stopped the bout to prevent Ali from getting killed.

If Ali didn't taunt Tyson, Tyson would take him to UD. Tyson was a great boxer in his prime. Ali would dance most of the time, but Tyson would nail him with jabs and bloodies his nose. Tyson might manage to cut Ali with his awesome power. Ali might be so fast, but so is Tyson. They would keep jabbing, but Tyson had the better jab and would hurt Ali more. Tyson would also nail Ali in the body, causing internal injuries.

That is a great question. I'd say a young Tyson would KO Ali only because he was so relentless! The argument for Ali would at least two fold! First, ring savvy. Ali's boxing IQ had to be at least double that of Tyson's so Tyson would absolutely have to take Ali out early, If Holyfield's alleged headbutts caused Tyson to snap and try and bite his ear off not once, but twice; Iron Mike would probably answer the bell in the late rounds packing a piece once Ali got into Tyson's head round after round! I then took into consideration Ali's 6'3" to 5'11+ height advantage and 78" to 71" reach advantage and was ready to answer your question by saying Ali would win, until I looked at the tale of the tape in the 3/8/71 Ali vs Frazier "Fight of the Century" If Joe Frazier(same height as Tyson and 73" reach) could get inside and beat Ali, how in the hell is Ali going to keep Tyson off him?? He isn't.

Prime vs Prime

Ali UD in a 12 round fight.

Ali possible ko in a 15 round fight.

Both were fast, Tyson had more power, both had granite chins, in prime both had stamina but Ali had more.

Ali would dance and land his jab, if he wanted to win he would hold when Tyson got in much like an old wrinckly Tillis did with a young Tyson.

Land jab, dance dance land jab and hold. Tyson gets frustrated and in the latter rounds Ali begins landing straight rights. Both flurry both land but both can handle each others punches. In 15 rounds due to the pace i think Ali tko's or kos tyson, Tyson could fight in a fast pace but not in a fast pace for as long as Frazier.

Tyson could take Alis punches and Ali could take Tysons [he took harder punches in his past] but in 15 rounds due to exhaustion Tyson could be kayod after the 13th much like Foreman.

more than one fight

2 out 3 Ali.

ali anytime putting tyson in the same sentence as ali is an insult

ali

ALI IS THE BEST !!! HE WAS MY INSPIRATION...
