Spinks was a whopping 6'2.5'' high & had a monstrous reach of 76''.
Spinks beat bigger, faster better lightheavyweights than both Stevenson & Kovalev. He also became undisputed heavyweight champion [unlike Roy Jones]!
Spinks would box circles around Stevenson & knock him out after the 4th when he pleased [Stevenson doesn't have a great chin].

Kovalev is a fast starter. Spinks was a slow starter [thus Tyson took advantage].
If Kovalev started very aggressive who knows; he might be able to hurt Spinks.
But if the fight goes to round 3, which i bet it would; Spinks would get into his groove & give Kovalev a boxing lesson. Assuming Kovalev has an iron chin Spinks by wide UD.
