Mayweather looked great against Guererro but he had no chance at all. But against Miguel Cotto, Cotto forced him to go Toe to Toe and he gave Floyd a fight. Now if Cotto could do that now that he is washed up imagine Alvarez young and entering his prime? Who is stronger and improved his defense and has better head movement now? Canelo can do it. No it won't be easy at all but In rooting for Canelo. He can do it. And Floyd's becoming brittle now. He broke his hand or something on Guerrero. Once he hits Canelo he's gonna injure himself he can't compare to power with Canelo. And Canelo is gonna rip up his body and bruise his arms and liver and Floyd will give out. Mayweather is still the best in the world, at 36 to still be the p4p king is quite and achievement because most fighters are done at that age (apart from hopkins who is superhuman lol) mayweather has taken the hardest fight which he could have taken in my opinion and he done what the fans wanted by singing the contract. Canelo is a heavy handed, hard hitter however he can sometimes get a bit lazy and doesn't work for the full 3 minutes of a round which leaves question marks over his stamina. I think that canelo will land some really good punches early and maybe win some of the early rounds. After this I think mayweather will figure canelo out and out-box him, I don't think canelo will have the fitness to apply constant pressure for the full 12 rounds and mayweather will make him miss punches and counter him, mayweather will hit and move. Does Canelo Alvarez have atleast a slight chance of being able to break Mayweathers record? Not looking for angry black folk (cus black ppl get mad when you talk **** about famous black people.
