2. Yes, Floyd would definitely fight Chino. You overrate Maidana, he's less dangerous than Ortiz or Guerrero, let alone Canelo and Cotto.
This would be an extremely easy fight for Floyd. Chino effective but crude, the dude gasses horribly in his fights, he's easy as hell to hit, he's shown in previous fights how badly he struggles with pure boxers.
3. Floyd would have a field day against Chino, win every round or stop him late. Like I said, Chino is a B+ fighter at best, he got beat by Kotelnik in a good fight, then Alexander and Khan completely schooled him (save for the tenth round of the Khan fight).
Beating Broner was a good win, but Broner is not even close to Floyd and neither are the guys that Chino already lost to.
Personally I think both Khan and Maidana are undeserving of a fight with Floyd but if I have to choose between the two, I will pick Maidana because he has a legit title and on a winning streak despite a previous loss to Khan.
But Floyd does not think and operate that way. Between Khan and Maidana, he will fight the guy who will give him the most potentials for the biggest possible ring earning. And that would be Khan especially if the fight will be held in England which has bigger and more active boxing fan base than Argentina. Khan is the bigger fight draw than Maidana even in the USA.
1. Maidana should fight Keith Thurman instead and Khan should fight Paulie Malignaggi (Winner gets Garcia)
2. Mayweather would be an easy fight for Maidana, if the fight were to ever happen it would be a shut out
3. Mayweather wins 118-110 UD.
In 2014 Floyd should either fight, Manny Pacquiao, Timothy Bradley or Shawn Porter. They would give Mayweather a lot of problems. But... he's gonna take the easy way out, pretty sad for his legacy.
Maidana does not hit harder than Canelo,so why would Floyd Duck him and not Canelo.Maidana would be an easier fight for Floyd than Khan, Amir Khan Already whoopt Maidana.Maidana doesint even believe he would beat Floyd he knows Broner is NO Floyd Mayweather, but obviously every fighter wants that fight, not to win but for the huge pay day.BUT..We dont want to see Floyd in a Cake walk we want Mayweather Paqioua or Mayweather Bradly.
Don't forget ,Amir Khan has already defeated Marcos Maidana with his speed and did it easily so i think Khans speed may give Mayweather problems as well because Mayweather relies a lot on his speed and when he fights someone that can match his speed ,he could have lots of problems ,don;t forget how hard of a time Mayweather had against the speed Zab Judah when they fought.
The May 2014 date is still open ,it5 should be either Marcos Maidana or Amir Khan but i think it will be Amir Khan because he has the bigger fanbase thanks to the die-hard British fans.
Maidana is a good fighter and almost KOd Khan in their last fight but it was too late before he landed. I think he has a better chance than Khan so Floyd may not choose him.

My opinion is that Maidana does deserve it more than Khan.
But Mayweather won't accept the challenge. Maidana's style is too awkward, and his power punches too strong for FM to feel comfortable that he could easily win.
If these two box, it will be a tough fight for Mayweather, but he will pull it off on the scorecards.
