It's not against any rule to hit or solely target the shoulder, but people have tried that on Floyd countless times and it never does anything.
It won't work. A shoulder is not so easily dislocated. Besides , this is boxing . Not MMA . Manny would have to aim for the pressure points to KO Mayweather if he wants to win. Manny is a pro at throwing from different angles and has a lot of velocity to his punches. If he could win a fight against Mayweather, it would have to be through
his considerable abilities other than just punching hard.

It is not outside of the rules to bang on someone's shoulder. Only below the beltline and in the back constitute illegal targets.
floyd shoulder roll is very effective againt orthodox stance... but lesser against southpaws..
dislocate, is exaggerated, he can bruise it but not dislocate, but I dont think pac will target that shoulder, he can utilize his power lefts a lot using it

Is it allowed to aim the shoulder instead of the head in boxing? Because I read somewhere that Pacquiao can just aim for Mayweather's shoulder and dislocate it if they ever fight.
