This fight itself was named the fight of the millennium and they compared
that to when two prime Welterweights fought each other in the 1980's ala
"Sugar" Ray Leonard vs. Thomas "Hitman" Hearns. This fight is going be
another fight that brings in record breaking numbers. With Saul Alvarez's
fan base here and in Mexico and Floyd Mayweather Jr's massive fan base
it will be fight of the millennium for this decade of boxing. I don't think even
if somehow Pacquiao-Mayweather happens in the future after Juan Manuel
Marquez's destruction of Pacquiao that has really taken away a lot of good
value from that super fight. For what it's worth its still a marquee match up.
Mayweather/ Cotto, which did the 2nd best in non-Heavyweight PPV to Mayweather/ De La Hoya. I expect Mayweather/ Alvarez to beat the Cotto numbers and challenge the De La Hoya numbers.
