Manny started his career as a strawweight, and is pretty small as a welter at the moment. They would only fight if they fought at catch weight again. You also have to realize that Freddie Roach trains them both as well.

Enough of this shlt. Let's see the middle weights fight the middle weights and welters fight the welters, and lets see GGG get a shot at unifying.

if i was manny i would want to fight cotto not so much the man rather him being the linear middle weight champion ,i'd do it @160 with no catch weights as cotto isn't a middle weight anymore than manny is and the extra weight will start to slow cotto down . winning the linear middle weight belt would move pac man up the all time list when people look back in 30 years time .

i think it would be a great fight (forgetting they have the same trainer ) with cotto looking very strong vs martinez .
