Manny Pacquiao vs Roberto Duran Predictions?

I actually favour Pacquaio here due to his workrate. Thats all. You?

Duran dominated the lightweights in one of the division's strongest, most competitive eras, facing and beating mostly by KO/TKO fighters from almost all continents, Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America. Pacquiao had just one fight at lightweight, beating David Diaz who was not even the strongest of the titleholders of the alphabet soup at that time ( I think Julio and Juan were the better Diazes ). No way Pacquiao could have stood up to, much less beaten Duran at lightweight. Duran by late round stoppage or bloody UD.

At his prime at welterweights, Duran defeated three future Hall of Fame champions in Sugar Ray Leonard (UD), Carlos Palomino (UD) and Pipino Cuevas (KO). Before that, he also beat the likes of contenders Monroe Brooks, Jimmy Hair and Adolfo Viruet. Pacquiao on the other hand faced and defeated Oscar de la Hoya (TKO), Miguel Cotto (TKO), Shane Mosley (UD) and Joshua Clottey (UD) although questions were raised as to their age and fighting condition/readiness. No way also Pacquiao could have been competitive, much less beaten Duran at this weight class at their respective strongest prime.Duran by late round stoppage or bruising decision.

Duran by KO RD 4

Duran was the greatest Lightweight ever. He was a lot tougher, and even more aggressive. Duran would of finished this quick, because Pacquaio comes in. Duran would of bullied him.

Roberto Duran. He was tougher, he hit harder and he had better defensive abilities. Duran would sometimes spar 20 rounds, he'd work Pacquiao's body, wear him down, take Pacquiao's shots and KO him late.

Duran KO11.

Duran. He was bigger and stronger and he had much more ring savvy. He knew all the tricks and he'd read Pac pretty well. Pac would probably outpunch him the first 6 rounds, but Duran would eventually find his range by the 8th and probably stop Pac (TKO) by the 10th.

Duran was arguably one of the best LW of all time. Pac would put up a good fight for sure, but Duran would eventually break him down.

Research prime Duran in lightweight.

No way Pacman touches that

Duran did not throw combinations as frequently as Pac.His speed was comparable, yes.I think nostalgia is influencing you guys' answers more than anything.Pac wins two out of three.

i would pick duran if both were to fight in there primes. duran would ko pacman

IM TELLING YA MAN TIMING IS KEY

THE QUESTION YOU GOTTA ASK IS DOES PLANKIAO PLANK BEFORE DURAN QUITS? THAT IS THE DECIDING FACTOR MAN.

duran all the way...
