Maidana
Maidana is a full fledged welterweight now and Rios proved in his last fight with Pacquiao that he cannot ramble with a solid 147 pounder despite essentially fighting with that weight since his lightweight days and even at the junior welterweight which enabled him to steamroll his lighter oppositions. Maidana is a welterweight who packs the punch of one of the most powerful punchers in the division right now and I doubt it if Rios would have the audacity to engage Maidana in a shoot out .In a boxing contest, I also doubt it if Rios is skilled enough to outbox the Argentine badass.

Maidana is a bigger puncher and has been fighting at a weight class above Rios ,neither one of them are known for their stellar defense so it will boil down to who can take who's blows the best and considering Rios isn't near the puncher Maidana is ,he will give Rios brain damage because Rio's big heart will work against him.
Maidana by 10th round TKO.
Maidana pressure will be too much for Rios to handle. He will counter Rios with sharp and devasting counters. His 20 pound size advantage will also play a factor because Rios punches will not affect him as much.
Marcos maidana U12.
Maidana's power is far more greater than Rio's. Would be a great fight, but Rios will eventually crumble if they were to fight punch for punch. Which would likely happen if they fought.
