he preps up to every fight, really? then how come he didnt made weight in the marquez fight? oh, I forgot, itwas intentional...
lose stamina? wtf, where did you learn your boxing? you lose more stamina in dodging and taking punches than potshotting in a distance dumdum...
a flatfooted maidana cannot attach himself to floyds excellent footwork, in fact floyd need no speed to toy a slow flatfooted puncherr like maidana...
maidana is a lowrisk opponent handpicked over khan for a purpose... to make you believe you are watching a great fight than a controlled lopsided fight, maidanas foam gloves will seal it.... fans wont bite unless they belive floyds gonna get hurt if not lose... like in a circus, the audience wont laugh bc its not funny unless the clown hurt himself
Maidana success was turning the Boxing match, into a street fight.
I can't even top that Eddie. I won't even try. You nailed it.
Floyd takes time to figure his opponent out.. He adapts.
People keep going on about Mayweather's boxing skills.. Very few credit him for his intelligence!
Floyd is a thinker first, a boxer second. You don't stay undefeated for nearly 50 fights without ring intelligence.
I watched the fight and I noticed that I think the reason why Maidana did so well was because I think Mayweather couldnt out run maidana.I watched the canelo vs Mayweather fight and the Guerrero vs Mayweather fight and I realized the differences was maidana litterally attached himself to mayweather and at times was almost running into him.I think the only reason why Mayweather wasnt running around the ring as much was he feared tiring himself out by running and running.my analysis is that Mayweather is losing his legs and his stamina isnt even close to what it was in the early years.i think a younger maidana in a way out ran him.now im not saying mayweather isnt still awesome im just saying his age showed
