Trinidad W12
Rodriguez according to the great trainer Angelo Dundee was among the best fighters he had ever handled. Dundee said Rodriguez who figured in a five-fight duel with the late great Emile Griffith that ended in a 1-4 win-loss record was a complete fighter who was very difficult to fight, much less hit cleanly. He was a great technician and tactician inside the ring.
I think the Cuban beats Trinidad who was noted more for his power than his fighting skills and strategies.
Rodriguez by UD 15. In a five fight series, I take Rodriguez, 4-1.
Felix Trinidad broke Whitaker's jaw in round 11 and won a unanimous decision. With that said, if Tito can get past Sweet Peas defense (who i rate very high in the greatest defensive fighters of all time), there's no doubt he can get to Luis Rodriguez and knock him cold.
I think Luis edges Felix in a 12 rounder, completely decisions him in a 15 rounder, tougher era from which he came from helps.
