And hear I thought that a Matthysse-Judah rematch or vs Danny Garcia would be exciting. With this K.O. demon, it's just setting up public massacre scenes...
I never thought a fighter should move up in weight desperately as much as Mathysse does... At least in 147, he can shut Broner up! Also, Mayweather would be a great fight...
Anyway, with all seriousness, if I was Matthysse, I would take on Garcia, defend the tittle agains't Khan(big name, even though he has a bad chin). After those two victories, it would pretty much make it official that Matthysse's nickname should be Destruction.
After becoming the Emperor(lol) at 140, he should go up to 147 and take on one or two easy fights to get used to the weight and work on some simple flaws. After that, take on Broner, Guerrero, Berto or Ortiz(is he still fighting?). If I was Mathysse, I'd specifically pick Broner and Guerrero. Broner because I hate listening to him speak and Guerrero because he is probably the second most famous guy of those 4. Berto is going to keep on fighting so if he builds up a reputation then Berto would be a better option because he has started to use the should roll(even though it's a crappier version).
After beating at least 2 of those guyes, then comes the big prize. If Mathysse works on his flaws and drastically improves his footwork + his power, he might be the man to defeat Mayweather...
Mathysse has the potential you don't see everyday. I hope he keeps it up.
lol i knew this was going to happen, but then again i have been a Lucas Matthysse fan for a while, so i might be a little bias hahaha. All joking aside, I'm just glad that things are going Matthysse's way, i hope that he takes the spot as kingpin at 140 by dethroning Garcia and i hope that his good run isn't screwed up by another crappy decision derailing his success. And i hope flash is taking peterson's loss well hahaha.
