Loma vs Rigo??? who wins?

If it is the amateur, Rigon will definitely win since his style is more suitable for the amateur but I can not say the same in the pro. With all those body punches that can wear any opponent will slow down Rigon considerably in the later round if it reaches that far. Lomachenko is equally fast and skilled whose style is far more fan friendly suitable for PPV. His punches seems more powerful than what the Cuban have and his variety of punches/combos is more suitable for pro fighting and this is where they were now, pro boxing. Loma looks like bigger too and I won't be surprised if he reaches the Welter in the near future.

My last coin is on Lomachenko.

Rigo gets tired later in the rounds, i think Lumachenko might win this one. Still a coinflip though.

I think Russell and Rigo should go at, they're both are short and fast. Rigo should take it though.

Rigo. I cant think of anyone between 122-130 that could give Rigo real problems. Loma is excellent, but I cant see that fight going his way at all.

Rigo will beat that hype job without breaking a sweat.

Loma by late rounds TKO

I really don't know but if I were to choose I would choose Lomachenko due to his lateral movement.

Soviet style amateur system vs Cuban amateur system has always been rivals. As of now I'd still favor Rigo. But I'd love to see that fight.

Interestingly, both are products of the highly successful boxing programs in the amateurs where the Cuban and Soviet styles and philosophies in boxing mesh beautifully.

There was a time when Cuba was so very successful in amateur boxing with its accent of the Cuban boxers' natural flair skills and chilling power that the Soviets copied their style but as their wont put more science to it. In time the Soviets also emerged successful and Soviet and Cuban fighters went on to meet in various international amateur stages including the Olympics with varying results and degrees of success against each other.

That continues to these days as attested by the fact that most successful fighters in the amateurs still come from Russia and Cuba. Rigo and Loma are clear proofs of that.

Rigo and Loma never met in the amateurs and that's because they fought in different periods and weight classes.

Rigo and Loma meeting in the pros is exciting as I see it as a continuation of the Cuban-Russian rivalry and battle of supremacy in the amateurs.

Rigo may have the better more superior style as well as longer experience fighting in the pros but Loma is a formidable opponent who uses his size to go well with his fighting skills including his ability to put punches in bunches and move from side to side.

In a fight in the immediate future, I favor Rigo to win over Loma though because I consider Rigo as the Floyd Mayweather Jr. of the lower division who has more power and killer's instinct. I am tempted to say that Rigo is the perfect fighting machine in boxing right now.

This is my new ultimate dream fight. 4 gold medals between them, I think Rigo's pro game is way too polished for Loma. Rigo counters way better than Loma and can fight on the back foot much better.

Loma's advantage is he's 2 fasted where Rigo's right is only for measuring distance. He is younger and has more volume but still, he likes to block too much with his gloves and thats not the best defense strategy at the elite level. Rigo has elite level defense, balance and counterpunching.

Loma has excellent combos, lateral movement but not enough to beat Rigo
