Paul Williams by UD over Keith Thurman.
Paul Williams would have beat Thurman he had to much experience Thurman had shown in his last few fights that a good fighter can beat him they just have to be able to take that punch of his and I fight at welterweight and I've always fought tall guys even in the amateurs I fight next month in MN and the guys 6"2 I'm 5"8 on a good day but it's something you have to adapt to his height may give him an advantage in one area but left him week in others
I would bet on Paul Williams to win via decision.
With that said; Paul Williams was outboxed by Quintana at 147lbs.
Still; in general i see Williams winning.
Jerome Johnson; weight divisions are only divided by that; weight.
If welterweights could only be 5'9'' than Oscar de la Hoya, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tito Trinidad & 6'1'' Thomas Hearns would not have been allowed to box at the division.
We would only have midget welterweights like Mayweather who feeds on fighting even smaller midgets
Keith Thurman by knockout. He is too strong for Williams.
People like paul williams is whats wrong with boxing how a man who is 6 Ft tall fight in welterweight division is ridiculous...........The tallest a welterweight should be is 5'9.
Ray STFU welterweight is for " Midgets " ........So you think boxers should starve themselfs so they can get in a extremely light division so they can get a advantage. They are boxers not super models......So Ali should be able to fight Floyd Mayweather???
