James toney has a solid chance to compete in prizefighter. Bernard hopkins showed us that if you are dedicated to the sport of boxing. Then you can achieve anything that you put your mind to. The man is 48 years old and is still at the top of his game. Now that's greatness! I would say yes James toney has a chance to win prizefighter because he's an experienced veteran. If he trains himself to be in top shape. Then he will send some of these young guys to School.
Toney should be able to do whatever he wants. Even old ,and well past his prime, he still is feared. Why didn't the Klitschko's ever fight him? He toyed with Holyfield, before finishing him. He beat Ruiz. Fought Rahman twice. Rahman got his chance. Toney is a ATG, and master of boxing. Knows more about the art of boxing, then probably anyone on the planet. It's a shame his body, cant keep up with his mind. I hope Toney keeps fighting, if that's what he wants.
Nobody can really tell him what to do, but this is unfortunate for him though. There really is no or very little point to his career at this time, unless he really needs the money.
He's in the HW division as well which only makes things worse because it only really takes 1 punch to do serious damage, I mean his speech is already really slurred.
I'm not sure if I would want him to win though, if he wins will he retire, probably not, it might be even worse because it may delusion him into thinking he can become a world champ again like Audley Harrison (or in Audley's case, become one).
