Unless you live in an urban area, it is going to be hard to find a boxing gym - let alone a free gym. In cities (NYC, L.A., Philly, Chicago, Houston, etc), many Catholic churches will have free boxing gyms/clubs for youth. Also, several police departments promote amateur boxing as an alternative to youth involvement with gangs and violence. Sometimes the YMCA will allow either free or discounted boxing lessons.

Boxing is a heavily urbanized and working-class sport. If you live in a rural or suburban community, good luck finding a boxing gym.

Practice a lot at home and perfect your skills. Then say you will pay him after you won some tournament for example, its worth a try!

Start working and pay your coach what you can. I doubt theirs free but yes YMCA and police may have free lessons and sessions and training. Look in your area.

I think i would be really good at boxing, but i'll be honest i am poor as ****.

How could i go about boxing for free?

Say if i went into like a club or gym off the street and KO'ed their best boxer, would they want me to represent their gym?
