He lives on a large estate in Michigan and probably receives sacks of fan mail and other contacts wanting to see or meet him everyday.He is in declining health because of a bad case of Parkinsons disease and other health issues.He is well guarded from public contact unless he approves of it.You could write once you get the address,but may wait a long time for a reply.
He was one of my childhood idols also, The Greatest. I believe he resides in Arizona, Maricopa County, with his wife Lonnie. He does not have serious mental issues, just the tremors from the Parkinson's Syndrome. If you see him, say hi, for me. Thanks.
