Is the heavyweight division dead?

his division seems to be full of bums except for david haye and the klitschkos and haye is no legend

Dead? No, just slumping.

I think HBO learned its lesson (and Showtime probably will soon) about not grooming young talent for the big time and trusting promoters advice to do it for you.

There is alot of talent always in the wings, whether they actually get time on the TV is another question.

except for the Klitschkos because David Haye is a bum. He just happens to be better then all the other bums in the division.

Yes it is dead and will be completely irrelevant after the Klitschkos retire and another great heavyweight enters the sport.

Yes, and I don't care what anyone says, but it's because the NFL is the biggest sport in America.

Pretty close, it's been on life support since Lewis retired.

I don't know, was it "dead" when nobody could beat Joe Louis during his record length reign?

All of boxing has been in kind of a slump for a while. Pacquiao is about the only fighter keeping it alive.
