I'm pretty much sure its not. Just by typing in George Groves or Carl Froch on Google will bring up headlines which basically say its not going to happen in various different ways. It seems that Froch is reneging his plans to fight Groves again even though Groves is desperate for a rematch. Andre Ward is also apparently now questioning Carl Froch's toughness and says that he'll fight George Groves. Perhaps Ward's words might even lead to a second fight between him and Froch rather than a fight between Ward & Groves or a Froch & Groves rematch. Personally, I think that Froch underestimated Groves and feels that a rematch could destroy his career. (Groves wold most likely train even harder and the referee would most definitely not make the same mistake as the one in their first fight) As Froch is 36 and already has the WBA ('Regular Champion') & IBF belts and previously held the WBC belt in a very successful run and seeing that his only unavenged loss was at the hands of Andre Ward, I have a feeling that Froch will soon feel he has nothing more left to achieve in boxing and also use this as an excuse to dodge a potential rematch with Groves. I sincerely doubt he wants to fight Andre Ward again at this stage after seeing that Ward swiftly dealt with Edwin Rodriguez after over a years gap between Wards previous fight and after sustaining a shoulder injury and after he shockingly 'destroyed' Chad Dawson. Maybe Froch might even fight Sakio Bika, the current WBC belt holder, in a unification fight in an attempt to regain the WBC belt and then he might even retire.
I could be wrong on all of this but its just my personal opinion partly formulated from what I've seen so far.
No, Froch is making every excuse in the book to not fight Groves again.
I can't wait for Groves to get a fight with SOG next, and then see Froch cry like a little b*tch about it.
The rematch is not on because Froch is looking to fight Ward or Chavez jr.
