You should definitely use gloves all the time on a heavy bag. If you're barely touching it and just doing speed than I think it would be okay but if you are actually hitting it then wear glove so you don't get busted knuckles or hurt wrists. I've used only wraps just to get calices on my knuckles and I've ended up tearing almost all the skin off of my knuckles and I've had tendonitis three times now. So take it from me, you need to wear gloves.
Make sure your wrist protected and watch how you punching...But look on the internet how punch because the wrist is very sensitive
ull go harder by wearing gloves cause u can put more strength into each punch.. but its good to switch up and not use gloves.. but gloves primarily if ur looking to sweat more

My dad has a punching bag in the garage, I'm a girl, I know nothing about it whatsoever. I want to start going at it just doing a few combos for extra cardio, would it be okay to do this with just hand wraps?
