Boxing my friend is all about the $$ to some fighters and to others, and there are very few of those indeed, it's about the Championship and fighting the best fighters out there to prove that they are the best. Don't get me wrong here because every Professional fighter is in this sport to make money, hell it's their job, but to some fighters it's only about securing the money the easiest way possible and that is Floyd.
Floyd will not fight any opponent than he deems a threat to him losing his undefeated streak, why don't you think that there was ever a rematch with Miguel Cotto? Cotto, besides Jose Luis Castillio ( who smacked Floyd around the ring ( 1st fight) like a ping pong ball), gave Floyd a very tough fight and although Miguel is 10 years past his prime would go back to the gym and make the proper adjustments and beat Floyd. Floyd is no dummy, no sir not at all he a smart as a fox.
You won't hear anything about Floyd fighting Cannelo, too tough of a task, but you will hear about him facing Khan in England. Why? Kahn has shown he has a glass jaw and Floyd sees this as a easy fight. Cannelo is too young and too strong and that isn't what Floyd is seeking at this point in his career, hell,at any point in his career.
Cannelo did something else in his fight with Trout, he showed that he could box and not just brawl another big no-no to fight Floyd who's almost 40 year old legs don't get around the ring like they use to. Floyd wouldn't be able to keep Cannelo off him.
Floyd will continue to fight easy fights for the easiest cash while beating his chest (and women) and throwing money around, proclaiming he's the best. Those in his entourage will agree and as well as a few fans, because that's their job but the people who know the sport know that Floyd is missing that certain something and that's the heart of a Champion not a businessman .
I'm not going to say he is or isn't scared but this fight can guarantee a huge pay check for both fighters and there is nothing stopping canelo from taking the fight, he wants to fight Floyd mayweather plain and simple. This fight can be the biggest ppv since de pa Hoya vs mayweather.
Alvarez did win the fight. You know why?
Cuz Alvarez found out Trout couldn't hurt him. So he settled into a nice, slow, Alvarez-type fight where he was fairly inactive for long periods, didn't really bother to set up big shots, and while occasionally trying to knock Trout out, was otherwise happy to let Trout chase him. Alvarez knew he could win the fight by landing enough big shots to visibly buckle and/or knock Trout down. And he did. It only took 2 or 3 since it never happened in return. I do think Alvarez got a little frustrated, particularly in rounds 5 and 6. A bit of the old "What does it take to hit this guy?" But after the knockdown in round 7 I think Alvarez was content. And I don't recall Trout landing anything that even made Alvarez blink.
Mayweather would make Canelo blink. Mayweather would take what Canelo threw at Trout and put Canelo's *** to sleep for throwing it. You can't fight like Canelo fought Trout and beat Mayweather. It doesn't happen. We've seen guys try.
To think Mayweather is scared of Canelo for that performance is a little ridiculous to me.
But I will give Canelo one thing: I think he'd give Mayweather a better fight than Guerrero will. I still don't understand how beating Berto...especially THAT Berto, who was terrible...entitles you to fight Mayweather.
Floyd isn't scared of Canelo.
Canelo (or his people) tried to boss Mayweather around and give him an ultimatum. Canelo is a popular fighter, but up until Trout he beat literally no one and has no juice at all when it comes to bossing around the best fighter/PPV draw in the game.
Mayweather isn't Trout or someone else, Canelo can't dictate terms and tell the Mayweather camp what to do. He may be able to do that with every other fighter (b/c he's more popular than them), but not to Floyd.
Mayweather scared let's think about that for a second ok . Canelo lot to Trout the judges gave him the fight any fool who saw it knows Trout won that fight. Floyd is licking his lips for this one. I don't want to hear one person say when this fight is made that they thought Trout won because that is all you are going to hear once Floyd decides to beat Canelo.

canelo wanted floyd to promise him a fight once he beat the ghost but for some floyd couldnt do that. now that canelo took very good against austin trout. i think floyd gonna ***** against canelo and do like a rematch wit cotto or some easy fight where he sure he's gonna win
