Boxing will improve your fighting style if you dont have one already.
You are training to fight of course you will be able to beat people up but try to avoid it if you can. If you are just planning to be good at street fights, take a ground martial art too like wrestling or jiu jiutsu. Fighting is strength, speed, stanima, and many more.
Umm if you get good at it and gain strength then yea probably. You can't be afraid of fighting though gotta suck it up. So yea in a way it probably will toughen you up. And yes it's about strength and agility. It will take practice... Something you'll have to work at, is being afraid to fight.
See youtube street fights. Theres even one dude that used only punches to beat 7-8 people. But you do have to have the right body type for boxing though. If youre a wrestler, then stick to it and make it superb.
depends on how the attacker his attacking you, if he tries to box with you then yeah boxing is good, but what if he takes you to the ground? what will you do then? if you want to get into self defense practice some ground games with that boxing
Yes. It's simple and yet very effective. You just hit your opponent or attacker with just one shot at the right place and at the right time and he's gone.
