Yes. Both have immediate KO power. Both have the real champs of their division trembling. Both have big promotional powers behind them. Both are must see TV. Both aren't Americans.
I'm a fan of both, but stylistically I think GGG is better than Matthysse. Both have devastating power, but Matthysse often lunges with his wild looping shots while Golovkin is more patient, controlled and throws shorter punches. I wouldn't want to be in the ring with either of them.
In terms of power yes (and throw light heavyweight Sergei Kovalev in to the conversation) in terms of style however, they are a million miles apart. Matthysse is happy to have a fight, Golovkin just mentally breaks opponents then physically destroys them.
Yes Both guys have sheer knock out power both guys have people that would only get in the ring with them if their life depended on it.
