It's like a -220 to a +180 type fight IMO, but at this point I think Froch is around -400.
Obviously Froch deserves to be a decent favorite, and I do understand why the books have the fight this wide, but I don't agree.
Groves is really good. I was actually just mildly impressed when he fought DeGale, a fight that I thought could've gone either way. Since then he seems to have improved ten fold, although to be fair that could be just b/c he hasn't fought anyone nearly as good as DeGale.
I don't know who will win. I'm betting on Groves b/c there's value in his odds, but obviously Froch winning is the most likely income.
I do NOT think Froch gives him a lesson though, I think it'll be a very close and competitive fight.
EDIT: Anyone know if this fight has US tv? I thought I heard it did. but don't recall what channel.
I definitely think Froch just out toughs Groves and wears him down and stops him. He's stronger and more battle hardened, Anderson managed to rough up Groves and Froch would do a far better job.
Groves gets hit and is too easy to get into a tear up to beat Froch, I don't think he could stay away from him for 12 rounds and box to a decision or trouble Froch too much with his power as Froch has taken the power of bigger punchers.
@STICK AND MOVE: I think it might be shown on EpixHD.
Froch can be outboxed and groves is a good outboxer. However, I feel Frochs toughness and mentality will get him through groves. One mistake could be your last fighting a guy like Froch, who wil definitely capitalize on it.
I will pick Froch for this one but it will be a good fight
I think Carl froch is going to win by UD.
