Don't let him get to you....it's ok to be afraid sometimes
If you want to keep yourself safe in public, avoid going out at night. Carry pepper spray, or some kind of object you can fend off your attacker with.
There are PLENTY of self defense classes out there, that can help a lot. :) I hope you stay safe!
don't be scared and I do understand what your dad is trying to say but I wouldn't have said it quite like that but he is right you need to live life to the full and don't be scared of the bad people be excited about meeting the good people out there you think that something bad will happen but your not thinking about if something good could happen you've just got to take the chance. hope this helped :)
