I have a confession ..i like Tyson Fury ........?

I'm in the same predicament mate, I can't wait to see him get knocked out but I'm addicted to watching him on YouTube. he's like a real life version of the stepbrothers movie and it's hilarious. There's something a bit likeable to him as he's almost like a child. Hes obviously had no education and is highly strung, but at least thats the real him and not an act.

His press conference with Haye was funny as hell When David said he was going nowhere and Tyson goes "I'm higher in the WBC ratings than you ya mug". Haye had no comeback haha. if fury didn't do the disrespecting of guys and especially legends like Lennox Lewis then he'd be a whole lot more likeable. the thing he doesnt quite get is that most guys are laughing at him and not with him!

Obviously Fury is not the full shilling, he lacks any sense of reality, and appears to be a legend in his own mind.

From the very start of his rise to fame, I have always questioned his sanity, I seriously believe Tyson Fury is missing half his brain, half the stuff he tweets are like the rantings of a demented mind.

His last fight against Cunningham was a poor performance... Fury resorted to pushing his opponent around the ring, and showed little boxing ability against the smaller man. Before overcoming Cunningham with his sheer height and weight advantage (not boxing prowess), Fury was put on the seat of his pants by a wild shot......

So what does Fury do upon pushing his way to victory...? He starts singing a song, thanks the entire population of New York & the world for turning out to see him... And duly goes on a tweeting campaign of abusing every boxer that ever lived.... Followed by getting drunk in Dempseys bar, holding arm wrestling compititions with the local punters...

I agree with you that he is different... His latest one liner was '' He couldn't fight a rice pudding'' was hilarious... How can any sane boxer retort to that??

If Tyson Fury did beat Haye.... Can you imagine the tweets that would be going around then??

Answer: I think Tyson Fury brings great entertainment value to boxing. As a fighter, I think he is limited, I don't see him mixing it too well with the elite of the division.

I am a little concerned about his mental well being... A guy above me stated that he appeared to have the mind of a child (fearless / not in touch with reality), that kinda ticks all of Fury's boxes.

I hope he doesn't get seriously hurt as he progresses up the rankings - Maybe Haye will do him a favour by bringing him down a notch or two....??

I used to like Tyson Fury until he ducked Price, said he was the greatest ever despite having won nothing, talked **** about Lenox Lewis, talked **** about the Klitschko's and a few other things. I'm amazed at how bad his reputation has become in like 1 year. David Haye KOs Fury by round 7. Steve Cunningham who wasn't a puncher at cruiserweight knocked him down so Haye will make him rethink about how good he really is.

Sean G seems you only like black guys no matter what they're like. I like all those guys you mentioned except Broner the guys trash. Tyson Fury has a better chance than many think and Haye showed against Klithcko he cant get past a long left jab. Call me mad but I'm picking Fury to win it.

F..k Tyson Fury. Another big hype job with no chin who can't use his height and has zero balance/coordination just like Price. But I will admit the guy is jokes. After Haye blasts him I wouldn't mind watching him in movies or a sketch show.

Tyson Fury is big ,tall and from the U.K. just like you ,you should like him. I think Tyson Fury is void of competition on his resume ,he's never fought anyone near the level as David Haye.

Fury is hilarious and entertaining.

Oh yeah, he's a HW too, where everyone these days seems to be either extremely boring and/or have no personality.

I like Fury too. I don't care whether he wins or loses, but I always look forward to his fights.

The Steve Cunningham fight was my introduction to him and to be honest the fight and some of his post fight comments were a turn off.

We all like who we like. I can never criticize who anyone likes. I like Ali, and some call him a draft dodger. I like Tyson, and some call him a rapist. I like Hopkins and he was a convicted felon. I like Mayweather and some would say he is a narcissist. I like Broner and some feel he's a punk.

I bet Sean G likes Colin Ferguson too.

its called charisma, it's something 80's sportspeople apparently and seemingly had, snooker players, McEnroe.

whereas nowadays, they are all boring, i mean balotelli, djokovic, fury and a few others arent boring as **** in interviews its rare and we should enjoy them.

i mean they all play along, all try to politicianly worm their way out of serious questions relating injury, never seem to do anything

i know he's a bit of a lunatic & he says some of the most stupid things and not the best fighter in the world but he's entertaining he comes out with some of the best one liners and and he boxes like light heavy weight rather than a heavy weight he throws lots of shots and can move well for a guy of 6,'9 .

he has been floored a couple of times but he has got up each time and came back to win (unlike david price" .

now i expect haye to win but i wouldn't be shocked if fury pulled of a shock .

so what do you think of the crazy pikey giant that is tyson fury

No big deal Doc, a lot of people like Gerry Cooney too.

he's got character.
