it really depends on your intention for using the jump rope. are you trying to get blood pumping with more cardio? are you trying to build strength in legs? are you trying to do both?
I would also say it depends upon your own height. for every inch you are over 5'5 I would add another 2CM on to the jump rope. starting at a 16cm (length) for a person who is 5'5.
Just buy any and see for yourself. If it's too long tie a knot
