Like EWWD said, the only guy you could call anything close to a rival would be Castillo since the first fight was close enough for people to think Floyd lost, but the immediate rematch wasn't close at all so.... I guess as far as rivalries go, that isn't much of one. Taking nothing away from anyone he's fought, Floyd has just been that much better than any of his opponents. That's why he's had no rival. Rivalries are spawned by closely contested fights. Floyd hasn't had too many of those, and that speaks to his unrivaled abilities in the ring. Tested, but to this point, unrivaled.
@Kalambre-...Oscar fought like an angry woman who caught her man cheating or something against Floyd. Floyd dominated that fight. Oscar threw lots of punches, but most were ineffective. Floyd made De La Hoya look silly on the ropes and potshot him to death. Despite what the scorecards showed, That fight was not close.
He does have the skills and technique, that's why he has never had a rival or trilogies. Floyd Mayweather is just so good that he dominates his opponents so much that there is no need for a rematch.

You just made that up. First ODLH never WANTED a rematch and never asked for one. And as was duely noted, his punches were flash and flurry, he admitted he realized his age by the second or third round.
Also, lest we not forget, ODLH was on an alcohol and epic cocaine binge that sent him into rehab (and into fishnets that he later confirmed were not doctored photos).

Because Floyd hasnt tested himself. The boxers out there who can push him to the limit are the ones he doesnt wanna fight.. He shoulda faught pacman and his career wouldnt be tainted, he should've faught sergio martinez he shoulda faught prime margarito, he should fight canelo.. Fighting canelo will leave a good impression and its someone who could challenge him

Like ali had frazier, Leonard had Duran, Pacquiao had Marquez, Hagler had Hearns, Ray Robinson had Lamotta but it seem Mayweather has never had a great trilogy or another fighter that would tests Mayweather and a fight people could look back 20 years from and say that was a great fight i mean he has all the skills in terms of technique and is indeed a future hall a famer.
