The trunk of the power tree for a fighter, lives in the lower back. Lay flat on the floor, and bend one leg, placing the bottom of the foot of that leg flat on the floor. Lift the opposite leg for inches off the floor, move it out a way from the body 12", hold, bring back, repeat 10 times, then switch legs and repeat.
Remember; speed kills, not strength....
Good luck
In boxing punching power comes from the legs, not the arms, I recommend doing squats
you don't really have to left weights..work on moving your shoulders with the punch this would add more weight to your punches and add a pop to it..you can also work more with on your legs because that's were all the movement and strength is coming from but it all depends on what punches you trying to work with jab hook uppercut but this should cover the basics,,exercises variety's of push ups Resistance bands pull ups etc get creative lol
