Has the time come for mayweathers defeat?

hes been flawless so far but surely everyone loses

Not for his next fight. But to win all 6 fights to fulfill his contract with Showtime, I think that something is going to have to give. I'm not exactly sure what belts in what weight classes he owns other than the WBA and WBC at Superwelterweight. He might even still have the IBF Welterweight title too. To defend all of these belts and also to fight approved fighters by Showtime and running his record to 49 and 0 is going to be tough to do. And huge. I'd bet that someone in these next 6 fights erases Floyd's 0.

Will it be this year? Maybe not. But I just can't see him doing it. Has the time come for Mayweather to be defeated? Not against Guerrero, but his time is coming.

I will be honest, I detest the fact that he had skill and talent, but threw it away to be a Thug, just like his degenerate family. He could have gone down as a great fighter, but chose to be a deviant. You may have an unscathed ring record, but when you are a wife beater, and child beater that erases all of your accomplishments. A mature image with class can go a long way, and enhance your legacy when you leave the sport of boxing.. By being a jail bird, you are telling the young men in America, you can be a great manly athlete by beating your wife and children and not respecting women. That is an illiterate mentality. As far as boxing goes, he fights once a year. As you age in the ring, you need to be more active to stay sharp, or else rust sets in. He is fighting the ham and egg fighters out there. He will avoid WBC World Middleweight Champion Sergio Maravilla Martinez, like the plague. Martinez is the champion, therefore Floyd cannot negotiate weights, that is a sign if cowardice on Floyd's part. All great champions have moved up to the champions weight, to fight them, Floyd would get his clock cleaned. Floyd is like Tyson was, hand picked opponents that made him look greater than he really was. Even Canelo Alvarez would beat him.

No.... I don't think so. Mayweather is definitely on the downside of his career. Don't judge by his hand speed; look at his foot movement. His feet are not the tools they once were in getting him in position so he is now in position to be hit more frequently. His skills have not eroded enough to consider him vulnerable to a plodding mauler like Robert Guerrero.

Mayweather is still faster in head and hand movement than anyone he might fight in the immediate future. You may recall when Roy Jones' foot speed was lost as a result of his weight climb to heavyweight, he became easy for skilled boxers to tag cleanly. Mayweather's skills are so vastly superior to Roy Jones' that he is able to compensate for slower feet and not be struck so cleanly.

That said, the next fighter Floyd faces that has some serious pop will have a remarkably good chance of getting him out of there. Guerrero is not that man.

i love floyd, but in all honesty i don't think he can go down in history as the greatest pound for pound. he's ducked pacquaio when i honestly believe that he'd beat him. this may not have been the case if he fought the pacquiao that defeated de la hoya, hatton and co but at the end of the day, he still avoided him

He could be but we have not seen any slippage in his game so all we have to go on is his last fight and most of the time you can't go on that a lone. I am a betting man and in his next fight I am betting on Floyd to win.Floyd is so good that even if he is slipping a little we can't see it. Floyd is such a proud fighter he will be more than ready.

He already lost to Castillo anyone who knows Boxing knows that, Only bad judging has let Mayweather Keep that zero.

What Flash said, Floyd just has too much pride unless caught with the perfect shot he simply ain't loosing
