Golovkin would destroy Mayweather. Plain, and simple. The majority of Mayweather last big fights have been with lighweights who just moved up to fight him, with the exception of Mosely, Ortiz, and Cotto. Everyone else were really lightweights. Now he stepped up to fight a fight weary Cotto at 154, who for some idiotic reason didn't use Emanuel Stewart in his training, or corner. Now for the Alvarez fight, it was stated that Canelo chose the catch weight of 152. With all this said, it isn't a problem for Mayweather to fight Golovkin at a weight (154) that he fought at within a year. If he is the pound for pound king, and he gets past Alvarez, fight Golovkin?????? His chicken **** *** wouldn't have the heart to do that.
Golovkin would TKO Mayweather. But, Mayweather is smart to avoid Gennady, so fight will never happen.
First of all, everyone that I have seen totally sleeps on GGG. His experience as both a champion ameture and Olympian give him the superb ability to adapt to any fighting style without losing his power and footwork. I feel that he is too big for Floyd, but if they did fight, he would knock Floyd out of his shoes without any doubt in my mind. His blend of savagery, boxing skills, ring savvy, and iron chin would be the answer to the Floyd May weather riddle. Floyd is great, but I have been waiting for someone that without a doubt in my mind would beat Money and that's the "Good Boy Killer" Gennady Golovkin.
if they were the same size, Floyd Mayweather would beat him easily. Golovkin's power is great but you can't hit what you can't see. He is too smart to fall for Golovkin's game.
The fight will never happen and shouldn't. Middleweights and all fighters above should be left out of the discussion of fighting Mayweather. He is a natural Welterweight and can barely make Light Middleweight.
I think this would be a good fight but I choose Mayweather to win by a Unanimous Decision
