Considering how Angulo was in a great fight w/ Lara, dropped him twice and punished his body, I think it's safe to say GGG would stop him at some point.
I love both Lara and Golovkin. Lara is a great boxer w/ solid power, but GGG's pressure, size, durability and power punching would be waay too much for Lara to deal with IMO.
I think it'd be a fun fight and a very competitive one as well. In the end though, Golovkin would get to Lara and stop him.
It's as I said, Lara was life and death with Angulo, which is significant. Now, Perro is a good/hard hitting/fun fighter to watch, but he's no Golovkin.
Not to mention Lara got a gift draw against Carlos Molina, who is a good fighter for sure, but also like Angulo the dude is no Golovkin.
Love Lara, love his style, but GGG would ruin him in the latter rounds of a good fight.

@Ray. Erislandy Lara beat Paul williams but he was robbed. Also, Floyd mayweather and williams was in the same promotional company. You did not watch the fight and you don't follow his career!

I think GGG pressure might get to Lara but it's a 50-50 fight in my opinion.

Erislandy Lara is too slick for a flat footed fighter like GGG. I think Lara will win by decision because he is too skilled.
Can u imagine Golovkin landing those bodyshots on Lara instead of Angullo??

It's a tough call but i would go with GGG since he's bigger.
Lara was outboxed by Paul Williams but Williams is a 6'1'' swarmer which is a terrible style matchup for any boxer [thus Floyd retired in 07 when Williams was his mandatory at 147lbs].
GGG isn't as tall or as active as Williams but he is a better boxer and bigger/stronger so he could get a win.

Who you think won Williams-Lara is your opinion, but that doesn't change what really happened.
Most of Mayweathers opponents are in his same promotional company. If Floyd doesn't fight Pacman it's cause he's in a different promotion, if he doesn't fight Williams it's because he's on the same promotion. So which is it?
