This time I give Froch a slight edge, last time it was on Kessler's terratory and Mikkel took a close decision. This time its in Britain and Froch will have all the hometown fans behind him and I'm picking him to take a close decision in a ring war.
Froch is the man, I don't see how anyone can dislike him.
Watching the first fight, I remember my brother and I both had Froch winning 115-113, so we both thought he pulled out the first bout, though it was real close and I know even though we had the same score, we scored some rounds differently.
I favor Froch in this fight, though I think his odds (-230 at my book) are waaay too high in his favor.
1. I think Froch has more left than Kessler. Not that Kessler has lost a lot or anything like that, but he just seems to have lost juuuust a tiny bit IMO. Froch still seems in the same form as the first fight.
2. The fight is in Froch's hometown this time, so he should get the benefit in a close fight.
Great fight, I'm excited for it. Both are very good fighters and it should be very competitive, I think Froch wins a close but pretty clear cut 115-113ish decision.
Speed diminishes before power and a good chin and Kessler is getting up there in age now and may have loss a step since they last met. I think all the punches Froch barely missed or were grazing last time out will land more flush if Kessler is a step slower which will result in Kessler wearing down late in the fight.

I am a fan of Carl Froch - Simply because he takes no easy rides, and goes from one war, straight into another.
At the same time, Kessler is one of the most disciplined fighters out there, maybe one rung beneath Tim Bradley??
My heart tells me that the Cobra has this fight in the bag.... My head is telling me Kessler?
