I think Chavez is already having a hard time making 160 at weight-in. He is even suspected of using diuretics to help him reduce weight. Asking him to come at weigh-in well below 160, say the junior middleweight limit of 154, would be too much if you ask me.
And even assuming for the sake of argument, JCJ would be able to meet 154 at weigh-in,how fit would he be at fight time granting the 24 hour allowance for him to rehydrate and bulk up to above 160?
We could have the fight but it would not give us a clear picture of how the two would do against each other in an ideal condition.
Floyd would surely avenge his uncle Roger's two losses to Chavez Sr. by one-sided decision or even KO/TKO as Junior surely fades before the middle rounds start from the rigors of the weight making regimen.
JCC has more ring experience but Mayweather would be the more technical fighter. JCC was like Castillo on steroids so i do think it would be a tough fight for both men, something like JCC vs Sweet Pea.
A close fight that could go either way
Neah...i'd rather choose someone who has a super left and can fight going back to fight May. I don't think he's ever been forced to chase a great and real opponent before.
Who Knows but I would love to see that fight.
I had a thought.if Julio were to drop weight like mayweather did to canelo and how would that fight play out?think about it...mayweather avenges his uncles loss from jjc sr?
