Bradley depends on his athleticism and Mayweather surpasses him in that department and everythng else to honest. Its a very ugly fight which Mayweather win by UD scores of 118-110.
They have both fought Marquez & Bradley won a split decision over 40 year old Marquez & Floyd destroyed Marquez 4 years ago after a 2 year layoff. Floyd knocked Marquez down & dominated the fight probably winning every single round. This is the reason that Tim Bradley & Manny who both struggled with Marquez wouldn't have a shot against Floyd. Tim Bradley doesn't do one single thing in the boxing ring better then Floyd!!! No Contest Floyd by unanimous decision 12 rounds to 0 or by TKO!!!
....ya know, I am not so sure anymore. I am no great fan of either fighter, though I respect both of their respective abilities, and I have yet to see Saturday's Bradley-Marquez fight in entirety, but an interesting thought occurred to me. does Bradley have the style to beat mayweather? friends, I am certain that, if a fighter w/Tyson's tenacity, body attack, and speed, pacquaio's speed, power, and penchant for punching from awkward angles, aaron pryor's perpetual punching volume, and leonard's intelligence, reflexes, and killer instinct were to fight mayweather, that "0"("money's) would most certainly go. however, in Bradley one finds a boxer w/no real clear style...just athleticism, heart, and a penchant for fighting toe to toe, and though he lacks obvious intelligence in the ring, he clearly can follow a game plan. so, I submit that maybe he might be the one who can cause mayweather fits and possibly beat him. I know...it defies logic, but, boxing has always been about styles and, though a match may have an obvious outcome on paper, in actuality it can turn out rather differently. I welcome discussion on this, so let the arguments begin....
p.s. personally, I don't think he has a chance against money, but I just want to start an lucid analysis/discussion
Both are skilled master-boxers who are fast and quick. Floyd, however, is a shrewd tactician. He's much more experienced and he hits a lot harder.
Timothy bradley is a very underrated fighter that beat the likes of Kendall holt, Lamont peterson, Ruslan provodkinov, and the great Jaun Marquez. I did not name Manny Pacquiao because the fight was controversial in most people eyes. I mean, the guy beat everyone they put infront of him, So, he is definitely a legitimate threat to everyone in his weight class. In my opion, I'll pick Floyd mayweather jr. to win, But, do you guys see Timothy bradley being the first person to give Floyd mayweather jr, his first defeat. Or if not, at least, giving him his hardest fight at welterweight thus far?
