it's all hype when he claims to be greater than SRR and Ali yet didnt fight the best...
nobody says he aint the best boxer in this era... but "best boxer in the world"????... you're dellusional!!! best boxer in the world is still alive punk.... and that's muhammad ali motha fukah!!!
yea floyd's the smartest in the ring in this era, the most accurate, the best defense...
but he also displayed some weaknesses... w/c means he can be conquered...he is hype...his unbeaten "0" is the product of careful cherrypicking... cuz it will easily break like an egg, its an omelette if he fights another "castillo" w/ faster handspeed and harder volume punches, or another "cotto" who's still prime and more faster... fact is; you're just blinded...w/ what, nobody cares
@asker
canelo's chance is low...he got stamina issues, the catchweight will make sure he'll lose it in the mid rounds, so mayweather can once again showcase his famous moves in the big screen, and his gorky fans will have goosebumps again as they watch floyd's kungfu boxing on HD slomo... they just dont realize those punches cant even hurt a fly b/c it's brittle and on xylocaine...the last opponent it floored was jmm; who's always known to be easily knocked down... hahahahaa
how can someone who got pillow punches be the best in this era????
simple...careful cherry picking!!!!
Mayweather UD 117-111..maybe 116-112 if Canelo gets lucky
Floyd Mayweather has never ducked or dodged anyone. That is something thrown around by haters because they can't stand that a pure boxer as good as Floyd Mayweather is the best and undefeated.
Now for your question, yes Alvarez has a chance. There is always a chance but his chance is based entirely on his power and size. He cannot out box Mayweather and he can't out last him. He has to use his size to his advantage, but he can't just do that. He has to use a jab. He also has to remain calm at all times because if he gets frustrated, he will make more mistakes and Mayweather will pick him apart.
His chance is basically landing a good shot that hurts Mayweather, but if that happens he has to follow up on that. He also can't punch himself out.
There is no hype that is Floyd Mayweather. You just want to believe that it's all hype but the FACT is that he is the best boxer in the world, of this era, and one of the best of all time. You think he is hype? Who in the sport has a higher boxing IQ than him? Who is more accurate than him? Who has better defense? Who can make adjustments like he can? Who can take away their opponents strengths and game plans like he can? Who works harder than he does? Who is as relaxed in that ring as he is?
He is not hype. You are just ignorant. That's not my opinion. That's the truth.
Mayweather is all time best in the boxing history so it will be so hard for canelo to defeat mayweather
Alvarez fans,
...one question,
Q 1. Given the boring history of Floyd bypassing** specific fighters in - their - prime, only to take on other boxers when Floyd was clearly the better fighter: DOES CANELO HAVE A CHANCE?
~ If so, explain as a fan of Canelo.
Not that it matters: HOPE Canelo wins but expectations are low. Alvarez has youth on his side (23 yrs vs Floyd is 36 yrs).
** ~ I do not believe in the hype that is Floyd, given he has dodged equal (and better) fighters over the past decade with lame excuses, only to face some (not all) of them when they are clearly past their prime. Sugar Ray Leonard never ''cheapskated'' his career like Floyd.
