Janir,
Totally agree. Floyd lost that first fight with Castillo. If you get a chance listen to the announcers disgust with the outcome. The next day in the paper in the San Antonio Press the headline read "Another Black Eye for Boxing" Floyd was battered pillar to post (Ring Post) backed up the whole time and was consistently beaten to the punch each and every time and was out landed 2 to 1
To Floyd's credit, which I give him very little, he fought Jose' in a rematch and beat Castillo without question.
Floyd is undefeated officially and otherwise. I had him winning a close 115-113 over Castillo. I asked this question here years ago...

Mayweather got the Unanimous Decision by scores of 115-111, 115-111, and 116-111. I scored it 115-113...
Rd 1: Mayweather 10-9
Rd 2: Mayweather 10-9 (This should have been 10-8 because Mayweather scored a knockdown that the referee called a slip).
Rd 3: Castillo 10-9
Rd 4: Mayweather 10-9
Rd 5: Mayweather 10-9 (Lederman gave this round to Castillo...watch it without the HBO commentary and tell me who won).
Rd 6: Castillo 10-9
Rd 7: Castillo 10-9
Rd 8: 9-9 Even...Castillo lost a point for foul tactics
Rd 9: Mayweather 10-9
Rd 10: Castillo 10-8...Mayweather lost a point for pushing
Rd 11: Mayweather 10-9
Rd 12: Even 10-10
How'd you score it...Lederman scored it 116-112 Castillo I think?
disagree, also I'll say this Oscar De La Hoya's wins over Pernell Whittaker was more ridiculous then questioning the castillo fight. Or how many victories did Julio Caesar Chavez Sr get given to him. Floyd won & if you are in the minority that thinks he lost because you never seen a fight that close that's fine but he won!!!
Disagree
Really? This has been discussed so many times. Floyd Mayweather had a torn rotator cuff throughout the whole fight. however you feel about it, he gave Castillo a rematch and beat him again.
disagree
Floyd Mayweather lost in his first fight with Castillo? agree or disagree?
