Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Julio Cesar Chavez Sr?

Your opinion on the fight. Mine is Mayweather by comfortable UD. Yours? A detailed explanation would be appreciated and also outcomes at 130 to 154. Thx

Floyd mayweather by UD.

Interesting fight, Chavez would break people down, a true technician in the ring. I think Chavez wins this by late stoppage, im just going by Chavez performance againts guys with great defense, granted he got a gift againts Sweet Pea, but he clearly beat Camacho..ok Camacho wasnt the same Camacho he was at 135 he was partying to much but he was still slick, Chavez's style is like Jose Luis Castillo x3, big problems for Floyd.

I think Mayweather would easily out box him. He is just too smart and knows how to adapt to anything his opponents do. He knows how to take his opponents strengths away so however Chavez would fight would determine what Mayweather does while Chavez would come out with a game plan and have it taken away from him.

You are grossly under estimating Floyd's capabilities while over estimating Julio Chavez's. especially at 147 and 154 lbs. where JCC never had any significant success, even losing his worst fights to Oscar de la Hoya ( including to Pernell Whitaker who actually pitched a shut out ).

Let's just limit this to fights at 130 through 140 lbs. where both fighters are at their comparative best.

JCC was not as accomplished and established at 130 as Floyd where Floyd fought and beat everyone who mattered ( Angel Manfredy, Genaro and Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Chico Corrales ) while Chavez had Roger Mayweather, Rocky Lockridge and Juan LaPorte ( both of whom almost beat him ) but never got to meet the likes of Bobby Chacon, and Hector Camacho.

JCC had Edwin Rosario and Jose Luis Ramirez as his toughest foes at 135 while Floyd had Jose Luis Castillo whom he beat in two fights and the rugged Victoriano Sosa.

JCC had Roger Mayweather, Hector Camacho, Greg Haugen, Frankie Randall ( 2 wins, 1 loss ), Meldrick Taylor and Kostya Tyszu ( L TKO 6) and Oscar de la Hoya (TKO 4) at 140 lbs while Floyd had Arturo Gatti, Sharmba Mitchells, Philip Ndou, Henry Bruselles and DeMarcos Corley.

Chavez may have the advantage in comparative experience but I give Floyd the advantage in talent, skill and superior fighting style.

Many have solved and unravelled Chavez's style of fighting but since his pro debut, no one has managed to solve and unravel Floyd's style of defensive master boxing and counter punching. Many have tried, 46 thus far including Chavez fight alikes as Castillo, Hatton, Gatti, Cotto, Alvarez and all failed dismally. I doubt it if Chavez could have also done it.

Floyd by comfortable UD at 130 and 135 lbs. and possible TKO at 140.

they already fought and floyd almost murdered him
