I think he will probably do better than Robert Guerrero because of his size and hand speed but worse than Miguel Cotto, since Canelo is a boxer-puncher who fights in spurts and conserves his energy, and Miguel Cotto fights is more of a pressure fighter with higher punching volume. That is, of course, if Canelo doesn't catch Mayweather with that straight right hand or left hook to the body of Mayweather, because that can really **** up Mayweather and might even knock him out.

i think canelo actually does look quite a bit bigger even in those photos, and on fight night I think we will see a considerable size difference, but I agree. canelo is going to get schooled. I never rated canelo too high before, I've not been impressed with his level of competition or stamina. matthew hatton who is nothing more than a tough club fighter managed to give him 12 fairly competitive rounds and not take too much punishment. he looked a bit better against mosley and had some nice combos on him and worked the body well, but against trout it was clear to me how easily mayweather would exploit him.

Floyd seems to have organised everything very well leading up to this fight, the way he fought guerrero is perfect preparation for the way to fight alvarez. I reckon its going to be very one sided.

mayweather is going to get dropped in this fight..he may finish the fight but he will get dropped. canelo knows how to box, mayweather is the more slick boxer but canelo is not far behind when it comes to skills. every one thinks canelo is going to have a hard time catching mayweather. mayweather will get hit, and canelo isn't mosley, mayweather isn't going to be able to hold on.

He is bigger than Victor Ortiz and Ortiz looked big next to Mayweather.

I cannot wait for this fight.
