If I had to narrow the field down to just a couple that are sometimes overlooked besides Holyfield, proving this with his bouts against Qawi, Bowe and others, it would have to be Holmes right on top. Getting up the way he did to beat Shavers. Taking the punishment he did against Norton. And Matthew Saad Muhammad. Matt showed it in almost every fight he ever had with his remarkable ability to get up or continue after getting knocked down or knocked out on his feet. Showcased perfectly with his wars with Marvin Johnson. And let's not forget Chavez Sr. showing us what he had against Meldrick Taylor. Don't laugh, but Tex Cobb. He had a heart bigger than his head. Against the hardest punchers he just never quit.
