Fighters coming back from devastating KOs?

pac got KTFO twice before jmm got him...

not only did he cameback, he cameback strong, beat all the elites, became the p4p king and the FOTD

and he was KO not b/c he was beat, but b/c he was foolish...

pac's come back will depend on how he will perform against rios...

victory cannot guaranty if he is still the same pac...

he's career is over if he shows any deterioration...

so pray...

cuz floyd can never retire a happy man w/o fighting pacman

Roberto Duran. When he got knocked out by hearns you wouldn't believe any boxer would recover from that. One of the most sickening knock outs I've ever seen. but he managed it and even went on to beat Iran Barkley for The WBC middleweight championship a few years later.

Was gonna say tyson, but he was never put to sleep, just counted out.

As for Pacquiao, he has lost in the past and come back from it. He was even KTFO many years ago by a guy called torrecampo, so we know he can bounce back from a knock out loss. I expect a wide win against Rios. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a shutout. But at 34 the the clocks ticking, so after Rios 2 or 3 Mega Fights and retirement.

Lennox Lewis and Terry Norris come to mind. Both got absolutely starched early in their careers and went on to win titles after that. Check out Terry Norris vs. Julian Jackson to see what I mean. Don't forget that Manny has gotten knocked out before too.

Besides these modern fighter's how about Joe Louis ko loss to Max Schmeling and then coming back to hold the title for nearly 12 years.

Julian Jackson came back from a crushing 2nd round TKO loss to Mike McCallum in August of 1987 for the WBA junior middleweight championship to win that same title vacated in 1987 by knocking out In Chul Baek of South Korea. he would go on to defend that same title three times beating Buster Drayton, Francisco de Jesus and Terry Norris, all by KO/TKO between 1987-89. He wouldgo on to also gain the WBC middleweight title in 1990 by knocking out HerolGraham. He would make four successful title defense of the 160 lns.crown between 1990-1992 before losing the title by TKO to Gerard McClellan in 1993. He would fail in his try to regain the crown losing by yet another KO to McClellan in 1994 but he was not yet finished as in1995, he would regain the title by defeating Agostinho Cardamone by what else, TKO. He would lose the title however in his first defense to Quincy Taylor by 6th round TKO.

Jackson literally lived and died career-wise by KO! But what a KO-filled career and comebacks he had.

Lennox Lewis is the only one that comes to mind.

Bear in mind it ain't the first time Manny got knocked the fock out, EWWD. He came back strong each time he fall.

In light of Manny vs Rios...

Manny got Knocked Out as bad as i have ever seen, but a lot of people are picking him over Rios...

If he beats Rios, does he still a few fights left in him?

what other fighters have gotten KTFO (not just stopped, but KTFO) and come back successfully to win at least 2 or 3 more big fights?

Jose Luis Castillo comes to mind, he came back to avenge his loss to Diego Corales, but that was about it, neither fighter ever won a big fight again

Michael Moorer, may be.....how succesful do you consider his second reign as champion?

Terry Norris?

Hearns?
