He also beat Alfredo Angulo, who knocked him down twice and was doing very well before being stopped. Those were his most impressive fights, but Paul Williams was never the same after the knockout by Sergio Martinez, and Alfredo Angulo isn't elite.

Saul Alvarez is an elite boxer-puncher that can out box and out punch Erislandy Lara. I do think Lara has a chance, and he moght trouble Canelo a little bit early in the fight. But Alvarez will begin finding his target in the middle rounds, and begin dominating, getting a late stoppage.

Tough one. Saul Alvarez is a boxer like Lara is but he does have skill, can put together some great combinations, and he has power.

i cant call this one lara is a great boxer but after seeing him knocked down against angula i gotta question how will his chin hold up against someone who is fast and strong like canelo but ill kind of give lara the edge because of the fighters her faced in the past
