card for Texas the tentative date is November 16, 2013 also, being featured
on the card Vanes Martirosyan v Demetrius Andrade WBO Jr. Middleweight
Championship, its going to be a triple main event on HBO World Boxing.
Yes, it's true that this isn't the greatest fight out there for Nonito Donaire, but consider this.
Donaire himself is coming off a loss, so this is the same case as Manny Pacquiao being criticized by some for fighting Brandon Rios. This could be like a comeback fight more than a huge victory like the first Darchinyan fight or Montiel.
Also, Darchinyan has wanted this fight for a long time. And you shouldn't count him out as well. Anything can happen in boxing. Everyone expected Donaire to walk through Guillermo Rigondeaux, but he lost the fight.
It's an ok fight in my opinion.

He flattened him years ago at 112, now he's fighting a past his prime Darchiniyan at catchweight of 126.
I know he wants to stay active but he's lost a whole lot of credibility in fighting old *** Darchiniyan all over again. I don't keep track of who's under the same promotional banner and which fighters can and can't fight each other, but what about Chris John, Mijares, Pnce De Leon, to name a few who are at least younger than old man Victor and would present a better challenge. If he can't fight Mares I'd much rather see him in the ring with any of those guys.
