Against Maidana, Broner will either win a UD or stoppage. Maidana is still a heavy handed come forward fighter. Malignaggi gave Broner some problems due to his movement, combination punching, distance, speed and defense. Maidana is a power puncher with a great chin. Thats about most the equation right there. People such as Alexander, or Timothy Bradley would have a great shot against Broner but the Matthysse's, Maidana's and Garcia's. No. Boxers are the ones who pose a threat.
I think he might not be that cocky deep inside. He is doing it because he knows he is not an outstanding technician like Floyd or an exiting fighter like GGG. He needs to show all that to garner attention and hardcore boxing fans don't mind it, they only assess performance. I kinda liked Broner I thought maybe he was pushing too hard in trying to be hated like Mayweather. He wants to be the new "Bad Guy" in boxing.
