No it doesn't. Shadow boxing if anything is a good way to loosen up your muscles before and after a sparring session, training session or a fight. Muscle imbalance is caused when u favor one side over the other utilizing weights.
ok what are you right handed otr left handed? which every it is you have an imbalance right now what boxing and shadow boxing does it get you used to using both arms both legs and making each as strong as the other
it probably does, similar to baseball players always throwing with one hand, but I doubt it's significant
Neither the biceps nor the latissimus dorsi are used much at all in the typical shadowboxing movements.
Even if they were, this sort of light, calisthenic exercise would have no effect whatever on muscle size.
