probably yes.. as your opponent will hit your head, your brain bumps to the wall of your skull ., after many many sparring , the brain maybe some sort of shock,
at most cases bumping brains in the skull produce a brief loss of consciousness, headaches and impaired cognition.
Yes you will be dumber , or more, more than dumb.. like having the state of unconsciousness lasting , more than an hour or forever.. for a very deep sleep..
Its not boxing that makes you dumber. Its being bad at boxing is what makes you dumber. Your head is not meant to be repetively hit hard within a short period of time. Thats why people get concusion induced trama and go insane.
Repeated blows to the head ain't going to make you any smarter.....That's a fact.
To start off with I am not trying to offend anyone by this question. I am 15 years old and I want to start boxing at the age of 16 (in a couple months) I want to take boxing seriously but have an education at the side just in case I don't make it to the real deal. I am currently in grade 10 but I will be in grade 11 when I will start boxing and grade 11 and 12 are very important years for students because universities look at grade 11 and 12 marks. I want to be a lawyer or an accountant. Will boxing affect my brain and not allow me to memmorize texts and formulas or in general my academics. Please try to answer my question.
