Absolutely not! the guy is way overrated. Who has he beaten? The only opponent that is worth mentioning is Trout which in my opinion Canelo didn't even look impressive in that fight neither. Do you think a guy who has beaten Josesito Lopez, a 40 year old Mosley and punching bag Angulo deserve another chance at fighting Floyd? He needs a better resume in my opinion. Did you see when he fought Floyd? Floyd schooled the kid. When you have the power advantage, size and want to outbox the best fighter in the world then you deserve to lose! he should have been aggressive in that fight.
Canelo is an overrated fighter and he got his *** schooled in the Mayweather fight. The only reason he fought Angulo was to be guaranteed he would look good against a punching bag. He hasnt fought anyone, those 43 wins are all bums with the exception of Trout. I think canelo should fight Golovkin
Canelo is the #2 guy at 154, behind Floyd. He's beaten Trout and Angulo. A win over Lara would totally make him worthy of a rematch.
Floyd only has 4 more fights on his contract and then he'll probably retire, so I doubt he'll get a rematch. I think he'll beat Maidanna, fight Khan possibly and hopefully get on to Pac Man. Lets hope he stops being a whimp and fights Manny
